Ganapathy is seen as prathyaksha ganapathy by the elephant lovers. He is kerala origin elephant and first owned by Popson group and then hand overed to Babu nambootiri(Film actor) and named as Kanjirangad Ganapathy and later he was brought by the famous Aanataravadu Of  palakkad "Mangalamkunnu" and named as Mangalamkunu Ganapathy.  Once he faced the dangerous situation or death situation for elepants named as Erandakettu and he recovered from that and he has taken many poorams and festivals. He has a great nilavu in his good age. and also he was one of the elephants who started to travel in lorry when others took part in festivals by walking.
