Guruvayoor Padmanabhan is considered as the god of elephants. He is an absolute Nadan Elephant. Padmanabhan currently holds the record for the highest fee collected by an elephant when he bagged Rs.2,22,222 for participating in a temple procession in Palakkad(Nemara-Valangi Vela) in April 2004. He is from Nilambur Forest.

Padmanabhan is the Sachin amongst all elephants. There may be taller, more beautiful, more artistic elephants. But double hundred is rare (Please remember the price of more than 2 Lakh given to him by Vallanghy Desam in a great battle to bring him). He is definitely the god in elephant religion

He is the only living elephant who had received "Veerashringala " from Ambalapuzha Maharajavu.. But i am bit confused about the height of Padmanabhan. Is 298cm the real height of him?
