Manikandan is a great elephant of kerala origin .calm and gentle in his behavior towards both the mahout and other elephant lovers.Manikandan was brought to shankaramkulangara when he was a little baby.in his childhood he was also able to enter the Chuttambalam.Now he is close to 10 feet high high,calm and beautiful
